Prev and Next page options not appearing

I spent a good deal of time hunting through this support forum for a resolution to an issue I encountered with a newly created gallery: there were 16 photos in the Flickr album and I set the max thumbnails to 9 which showed up just fine, but there were no pagination options underneath the last row of thumbnails.

I checked prior AFG posts and they all had the pagination options in place. I spent a good amount of time disabling plugins that might conflict without any change. Finally I went back to Flickr and reset some album options (permissions, sort order), saved the changes, and the gallery magically started showing the pagination options (Next, Prev buttons, page numbers, and photo count).

In case someone else runs into this issue I hope this saves you some time. AFG is a great plugin that provides a unique interface addition to WP and I hope Ronak remains committed to keeping it current for the long run.
