Prev/Next Links Not Shown When No Events Scheduled

Unfortunately we don’t have a snippet available with that functionality at this time.

We do have the option for the Latest Past Events view, which will show if you have no events by default. If you’d like to disable that, you can use the following extension:

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, the extension applies only to V2 views. We use V1 views, so we’re back to square one.

Please don’t abandon V1 views. We prefer them. They are cleaner and suit many better. Further, switching to V2 views forces us (and many others) to re-do our styling which is asinine. So, would be awesome if you can ask your developers to:

(1) Update the extension the accommodate V1 views.

OR

(2) Provide the snippet requested.

OR

(3) Provide an extension for showing “Recent Past Events” when there are no current or future events scheduled (for V1 views). (Note: In this case, best to incorporate the extension or added featured directly into The Events Calendar plugin)

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately we are phasing out V1, so we will not be updating snippets for V1 at this time.

It is beyond the scope of support that we provide to supply you with a snippet, but I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.
