• Hello,

I have just installed and started testing LifterLMS.

As far as I can see (after a thorough search in several sources, including the “academy” subsite) it is not possible to prevent a user from going back to the previous question within a quiz. In other words, the “Previous” button cannot be removed/hidden. Is that correct?

By the way, I know that the “Previous” button can be removed sitewide by means of a CSS code but I would like this button to be visible in certain quizzes.

    Thanks

    Hi @lms4wp !

That’s correct, there isn’t an option to always hide the Previous button. CSS would be the easiest method to hide it. The button is there in case Next is clicked by accident as a way to correct any mistakes before submitting, as you would be able to do if the quiz/exam was a written one.

If you’d like to hide it only on certain quizzes this would need some additional customizations. You could try using classes like postid-2783 (for a quiz with post ID 2783) to change the CSS for certain quizzes. We have a listing of third party LifterLMS experts who could also be contacted to help with additional customizations.

    Cheers!
