Prevent deletion of obsolete strings

    Hi,

    I am doing some translations with this plugin. The thing I noticed is when I add a string manually to the template by using “Add” button, that string gets deleted whenever I use “Sync” functionality. The thing is that I have some strings outside of the theme or plugin files that I need to be translated, so I added them manually.

    The question is if there is a way to disable automatic deletion of strings when using “Sync”? Would it be possible to turn that off and only leave manual removal?

    You cannot maintain a POT both manually and via sync.

    What I suggest you do is add a dummy PHP file containing all the strings you wish to add manually, then let sync pick them up like any other parts of the code.
