Is there a way to prevent the excerpt displayed in the search results from having the html interrupted such that <a> tags are broken?

Example of what is displayed in my search results:

…href=”example.htm”>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Donec vitae sapien eu lacus congue vulputate ut vel arcu. Integer euismod laoreet leo id ultricies. Proin ut ni…

Instead, could it be made to not start or stop in the middle of something between <>?

    Thanks,

No, unfortunately that’s not possible. There’s very little reason to have links in the excerpts in the first place, so I’d suggest that you don’t allow <a> tags in the excerpts. By default, Relevanssi should remove all tags from excerpts, and <a> is one of the tags you definitely shouldn’t allow.

Okay thanks, I may try that.
