Prevent fields from clearing on submit

Still looking to solve this issue.

I tried this, didn’t work.

$.fn.clearForm = function() {
	return this.each(function() {
		$('input', this).not('.wpcf7-form-control').clearFields();
	});
};

Got the idea from here: https://www.techiecorner.com/2732/contact-form-7-clear-all-field-except-specific-after-submission/. But no, it doesn’t work…

Have you found a solution? I’m struggling with the same thing… ??
