Prevent form submission while the form is being validated

  • I’m aware people have been asking for this for a long time. I have read your post about this issue (https://contactform7.com/2019/11/26/preventing-multiple-submissions/) and I fully agree with it. It should indeed be possible for a form to be sent multiple times.

    But I think there is a small period in which I think it makes sense to disable the submit button, namely while the form is being validated. After validation is completed (whether it failed or succeeded doesn’t matter) the submit button should be enabled again.

    In the test page I have set up, you can double click the submit button, which results in 2 form submissions. This could easily be prevented if the form would not submit while waiting for the validation response. What do you think?
