Prevent more than one event from reserving same space for same time

    I am looking for an events calendar for my church that will allow us to assign meeting space/locations to events without double booking the space. For example, let’s say I have a Worship Team meeting scheduled for Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. in Room 101. The Prayer Team then schedules a meeting for the same day and time, and wants to use Room 101. I would like be able to prohibit them from scheduling their meeting in Room 101, since it’s already reserved. Will Events Manager or Events Calendar Pro allow me to do this? If not, is there an add-on that would allow this feature?

    I think Events Calendar Pro is not compatible with Events Manager but you can try WP FullCalendar and then under EM see settings Events > Settings > Bookings > General Options > Allow double bookings =No

    Thanks, Angelo! I actually meant Events Manager Pro, but am inquiring about several plugins and just got confused, ?? it sounds like Events Manager with WP FullCalendar may be just what I’m looking for! I’ll definitely check it out!

    One more question, Angelo…WP Full Calendar is showing as having not been tested with WordPress 4.0. Do you know if it’s compatible? Thanks!

    jobbydesign57, did the Events Manager with WP FullCaldenar enable you to prevent double bookings? Can you provide some details? I am also at a church with many events and room conflicts.

    I am currently working with events calendar pro and unable to prevent double bookings… with no update in sight… short of reworking the code. I have a very frustrated office staff. Thanks.
