    How can I Prevent Orders from automatically going to “Completed” Status after Payment?

    We sell physical products and need orders to go into “Processing” status after successful payment so that we have time to add the shipment tracking info and then mark it as “Completed” manually ourselves.

    But for some reason, all orders are automatically going to Completed with your plugin.

    What can we do to fix this?

    PS. Emails are automatically going out too as a result that say “Tracking info” because Woocommerce thinks it’s a completed order… except it’s not really completed yet. Hence the need to go to “Processing’ first.

    Hi Michael

    I just pushed a new release to production for the NMI plugin. There is a bug fix for products with a double quote in the name, as well as addressing your request for the order status.

    I’ve added a new setting for the plugin (WooCommerce -> Settings -> Checkout -> NMI Gateway for WooCommerce) called Final Order Status. You can now toggle between Processing and Completed, which will now only set the order status to Completed if you choose it to do so. This should cover your request, but please be sure to let me know if doesn’t.

    You can upgrade to the Pro version directly in your WordPress admin after you download and install the free version.

    You can find the upgrade page in the admin under WooCommerce > Settings > Upgrade
