When the button is clicked, the notification bar hides by setting the key:welcomebar_close value:close in local storage. This seems to be persistent even if the browser is then closed and re-opened and the page revisited. You can even edit the messaging, and it won’t show again.

Is there a way to turn that off? Basically, make it, so the notification bar doesn’t perma-hide.

Hey @tenacityio , thanks for getting in touch.

May I ask what behaviour of the bar are you looking for after submission?

    Currently the options are:

    – don’t show the welcome bar (cookies will be stored so it will only reappear after they expire/ after clearing the cache)
    – show the bar when the user visits the website again
    – show the bar when the user refreshes the page or visits another page.

Please feel free to write further via email to [email protected] which is our official support channel. Thank you!

    Sorry for the delay.

We just want to “show the bar when the user refreshes the page or visits another page.” Or really just the option to not hide the bar at all.

Thanks for getting back, @tenacityio . So this option would work for you, if I understand correctly? ??

@karinapremio… yes, is there a way to stop the bar from hiding?

    Hey again @tenacityio ,

Do you mean in general? If yes, you can choose the “show the bar when the user refreshes the page or visits another page” flow ??
