The Integromat plugin was removed from the repository and every time Wordfence scans it is automatically uninstalled from my website, so I have to reinstall it every time because I need it for the Make scenarios.

How can I prevent the plugin from being uninstalled and Wordfence just warning me?

    Thanks.

Hi @efquintana, thanks for reaching out to us.

The “Scan for out of date, abandoned, and vulnerable plugins, themes, and WordPress versions” setting in Wordfence > All Options > Scan Options > General Options does not uninstall plugins on your behalf. It is there to warn you so that an alternative repository plugin or more recent update can be installed at your earliest convenience.

It might be worth speaking to your host about whether they run a separate check for abandoned plugins, or investigating whether this is a feature of any other security plugins you’re running alongside Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

And if Wordfence does not uninstall it, why does it notify me as a critical problem of this uninstall?

    Problemas críticos:

    * El plugin ?Make, formerly Integromat Connector? se ha eliminado de www.ads-software.com.

And why does the plugin disappear from the web on the same days the scan is run?

    Obviously there is some connection.

    Hi @efquintana,

Wordfence simply checks the www.ads-software.com repository status of a plugin and informs you if it has been removed (meaning it’s no longer available for new downloads from WordPress > Plugins > Add New directly)

Often, plugins will be removed by www.ads-software.com from the repository if there’s an unresolved security issue or the developer has stopped actively working on the plugin. Wordfence flags this to you so that you can make an informed decision to find an alternative plugin that performs the same function(s). We don’t uninstall it on your behalf though.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

The funny thing here is that Wordfence doesn’t uninstall the plugin from my website but after configuring Wordfence not to scan that directory, the plugin has never “magically” uninstalled itself again.

Too bad I had to lost so much time going through all the plugin options, one by one, until I found the solution, instead of getting an answer here ??
