Prevent recording of a page with an existing title or a particular title

  • Hey,
    in the BO, I would like to prevent the recording of a post (page, places) when a post exists with the same title, or when the title has a particular value.

    Is that possible?

    There is a way to do so by many existing wp plugins.
    One of the plugin is : Duplicate Title Checker
    Here is the link to that:- Duplicate Title Checker
    This plugins check that title we are using for new post is unique or not. Right now this plugin is only for post but with minor modification it can be used with custom post types and pages.
