    Hi,
I know this issue has been brought up in past but I wasn’t able to find any updates on this, hence I am opening a new ticket.

My issue is that after every login and logout, the page reloads again. I understand that it is done to update the service worker based on authenticated user. But the problem is, it gives a really bad impression of my site to the users.

I need a way to prevent that. I’ve read about this and know couple of workarounds but those are unsatisfactory and/or not-suited for my purposes at least. I have a couple of questions and I’ll be thankful if someone can answer those.

    1. I know i can prevent reloads by using the filter mentioned here. But I do not show admin bar on my website and hence those buttons to reload the page will not appear automatically. So, if I just use this filter to prevent reloads and don’t worry about showing the update button, will that break functionality? I am certain that it will, but need confirmation.

    2. If I must show the update button, in some place other than admin bar, is the approach mentioned here, the best way to go?

    3. Is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks.
