• When uploading images to wordpress, I understand that attachment pages are made. I have set up a redirect for these attachment pages which goes straight to the actual images but how would I be able to prevent a selected number of the actual images from appearing in Google image searches?

I have seen this already. The problem is that there are 1000s of images that need to be hidden from google which means it’s not feasible to manually edit the robots.txt file. Furthermore, because I only need some to be hidden, i cannot edit the robots.txt file to hide all images.

By any chance, do you know if images that can’t be seen without logging into a membership account would be shown in Google image searches?
