Prevent Ticket Reopening and Search by Custom Field

You can lock a ticket with our Powerpack/productivity add-on.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an option to include a search by other fields. You can, of course, modify the plugin. If it helps, any custom taxonomy field can be added to the filter options but things like username would be a modification.

Thanks for pointing me to the Productivity Pack, i’m going to purchase it for sure. I do have a question, will this plugin allows me to prevent users from re-opening tickets sitewide ? Like i want to disable the re-opening ticket option completely for all users, not just for individual ticket.

That’s a bummer, i have numerical usernames on my site, and would love to be able to search by username. If you can think of any solution to add an specific field to the search query, please let me know

Yes, there is an option to automatically lock a ticket when its closed.

We do plan on enhancing the search functions but its probably not going to be done until 1st quarter 2018.
