Preventing double reservations.

    As written on multiple threads, it is pretty easy to set Appointments Services capacity. In my example I have to seats to reserve, but the clients do not need to know about the capacity. All they need to see, is that, is there a free seat to book.

    The problem is, that now when two clients are able to make a booking for the same time, sometimes one individual accidentially books the both times. They do not do this on purpose, they just sometimes are not sure, if the time was booked or not, and make the booking twice.

    Has anyone written a function, that makes it impossible to book two reservations for the same time for one user.

    Hey there Eetu,

    How are you doing today?

    We don’t have that specific function but we have similar functionality. What you can try using is “Minimum time to pass for new appointment (secs)”. You can find this option in Appointments -> Settings -> General -> Time Settings.
