    Hi

Brand new to WordPress, and I’m used to menu structures being able to have the option to just be the top level, IE they have no content, and if you (attempt to) click them, they don’t open a page. So, only the Sub-Items are ‘Pages’

Is this possible? Sorry if I missed something totally obvious!

  • This is indeed possible, but will require a lot of work and customization. I also don’t understand what you mean by

If you look around the web, you’ll find many many sites that do NOT have this structure. It’s far better for usability to have clickable links at all times.

You can do this very easily if you use a custom menu. Use custom links with a target of # instead of a URL for your Parent menu items.

Thanks for the tips, I’ve now created a custom menu, and it’s working great
