Preventing users adding categories to categories

    I am eyeballing the settings for a category I created and I don’t see anything to prevent users adding categories to a set number of categories I created for the category.

    Is there a function to do this? Or is should I just create a function to echo out display: none; on the + Add new category element?

    No setting I’m aware of for that type of thing. Not sure if there’s equivalent things in regards to roles/capabilities and category creation limits either, but that may be worth exploring.

    Thanks Michael,

    I do remember some time ago preventing users, when creating posts, from adding more categories from the post. I may have used a function specifically for this purpose or, as I may do now, just use a function to echo out some css to hide the element in question.
