Prevents Contact form 7 submission

    When submitting the form it just shows the spinner and never submits the form. This started happening about 10 days ago. No updates had been done to plugins, it just stopped working.

    I set it up on a staging site and disabled all plugins except Contact Form 7 and this plugin. It’s still the same. I also changed to 2024 theme and it’s the same. CF7 Google Sheet Connector and CF7 have been updated to the latest versions.

    Hi @artisanweb,

    Can you enable the WordPress Debug and check for the exact error printed in the log file?

    Also, check the plugin log for the authentication errors and let us know. You can open it by clicking the Debug Log “View” button from the integration tab.

    I activated the Debug log. On the staging site there was this error:

    PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /home/sites/9b/d/d556a93e65/staging_html/wp-includes/class-wp-fatal-error-handler.php on line 76

    On the live site I increased the memory limit and still got a memory error but this time it’s bigger:

    PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2097152 bytes) in /home/sites/9b/d/d556a93e65/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-recovery-mode.php on line 178

    The site is using PHP 8.

    The plugin log itself isn’t producing any errors (or at least the log is empty).

    I apologize for the late reply.

    We need to take a deep look at your issue as the error doesn’t display anything related to the plugin.

    Can you open a ticket via our support page for a quick look and fix?
