Hi there,

I have a problem with the image when I share the link. In the preview I have the correct meta description and image, but in the snippet the image is different.

I tried to use the featured image or a smaller one (square) but it didn’t work. Social media — same situation.
The problem is quite serious because we need to share the link with the right image.

Is there another way to change it?

Yoast: Version 22.2
WordPress 6.4.3?

Can you let me know what image you expect to see?

Hello Maria,

Thanks for mentioning Telegram, as I could replicate it there. Telegram?uses the Open Graph protocol as Facebook, so that image from Facebook should also be fetched by Telegram.

Can you let me know if that wrong image showing on Telegram is currently uploaded to another post or page?
