    Hello,
Post 1 at shellyandcococreate.com has two images. No matter the settings in the PhotoBlocks setup, both preview images are severely cropped. Click on the left image of the cat and you’ll see a white border I added to hopefully force the picture to fit in the preview frame. NO GO. You won’t be able to see the cropping of the right image as it has an active link, but it’s happening. How do we fix this?

Also, how do we make the dark bar and associated type of the overlay title of the right image much smaller? It’s way too big.

    Thanks.

This plugin crops images. If it’s not what you need you can check this one: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/final-tiles-grid-gallery-lite/

If you try it be sure to choose the Masonry layout from the General section and set 2 columns. Finally, set the Grid size option to 0 (General section) to be sure the images won’t be cropped at all.

    Cheers,
    Diego

I appreciate your quick response. However, why does this plugin crop images? Is that a feature or a bug? Why not solve the issue presented instead of passing me off to another plugin? Seems disingenuous. I paid money for the pro version of PhotoBlocks and expect it to not crop images, but to show the whole image. Is that too much to ask? Thanks.

Quick answer for users of every version of PhotoBlocks: the main feature of this plugin is letting you to design your own grid by using a drag and drop builder. The plugin is not meant to avoid cuts.

I suggested Final Tiles Gallery just because it fits better your needs, it’s based on a completely different algorithm which doesn’t crop images.

So, it’s not matter of asking too much and there’s nothing to solve, it’s simply the way it works, the main reason behind that is you can always have even edges.

    Hope that clears a bit.

    Cheers
    Diego
