Preview in the “entry-summary” of my articles

  • Hi guys,

    got a little question at hand. I wonder if a Board via FEN or a Game via PGN should be shown on the entry of an article? I use wp 5.5.1 and the generate press theme with elementor and when i create a page of my game-category the boards don’t show up in the class “entry-summery” of the articles. Is this normal and should be required as feature on github or is a problem?

    Hi,

    There is no restriction on the side of RPB Chessboard on having a FEN board or a PGN game in the preview part of a post. Still, it depends on how the theme implements post preview rendering. More specifically, it depends on whether shortcodes are handled in post preview in you theme, which seems to not be the case here. I suggest you contact the authors of your theme.

    thanks for the quick answer. I kind of suspected that my issue lies in the theme related sector. In the future i’ll post my questions on github as you mentioned ??
