My jpeg is 2048 by 1024 pixels, for whatever reason the image don’t show up in the preview window. Why?

First of all check the browser console log. In most cases it’s the CORS issue if you use HTTPS and can be fixed easily.

Where in the browser can you do that?

also @avirtum looking in the forums this seems to be a common issue with people who buy this plugin. Why not make a YouTube video showing how to resolve this issue and link it every time someone has this issue?

As I said above, it’s the CORS issue mostly. There a lot of solutions of how to fix this, it depends on web server and settings.

I’m using AWS with the bitnami wordpress install. What would be a good solution for this?

I just did a YouTube search for “browser CORS issue” for this issue and came up with several potential solutions, including a browser extension (for Chrome) that you can use. The other I looked at is creating a small .bat file to resolve the issue. (It looks simple enough I could even follow it!) If Avirtum doesn’t answer you might try looking at YouTube. No guarantees!!

Just a note on the above link. Do not fall for the BIG download buttons! The actual download link is small and has selections for the browser you want to install it on.

@kaz2 Thank you very much! That was nice of you and I appreciate that! I have a question will other users be able to see this/ interact without the same kind of hoops to jump through/ plugin?

I honestly don’t know. It all works seamlessly for me, including other people being able to use. So I believe it should be okay. I think it mostly has to do with the preview. Again, I’m guessing.

@kaz2 Finally got some free time to mess with the CORS plugin and that still didn’t fix the issue. If I can’t preview or even see my work this plugin is useless for me.

@avirtum this plugin should be plug and play and it just isn’t. Too much time has been wasted trying to just see a preview. I’m going to try a few more options but if they don’t work I’d like a refund on this plugin.

I recommend to read about the CORS. If you have incorrect settings or trying to get images from domain that blocks this action, how the plugin can work properly in such situation. I think there is no way. Also I do not like to use hacks.

@avirtum Installed the plugin WP VR, a similar plugin to iPanorama 360 and it worked right out of the box. How can I start the refund process?

@avirtum it’s been a week and still no reply. Is this how customers are treated?? Your plugin doesn’t work right out of the box, having to play this game of CORS issue is non-sense when your competition WP VR does it without a problem. I’d like my $$ back, how do I go about the return process?

What kind of answer do you want? I do not know the WPVR and their solution, but I know standards. Maybe they use some kind of trick to fix this on the fly. If you want a refund, ask the marketplace there you bought it.
