    Hello,
Could you possibly help me to figure out how to make this:
    1. I have a free course
    a. No paid content
    b. Learner has to login to do the exercises.
    2. Free Preview
    a. I want a learner to view the whole page, module, section freely
    b. I want the web crawlers to index all pages of the free courses
    3. According to the plugin, I suppose , it should be rather easy to do it.

In the course settings there is “Show” – which means Section, Module etc will be visible in the Curriculum
“Free preview” allow the leaners to preview the content
    4. So I have this settings:

    5. The settings should mean:

    6. Unit “Grammar Practice” – Allowed
    Section “Exercise 1” – Allowed
Modules “Complete the gaps” etc – Allowed to be previewed.

    7. In the Curriculum, there is no need to show all modules separately because I allow to preview the whole section which includes all the modules. So I choose only:
    Grammar practice
    Exercise 1

    8. Then I check the settings on the preview Curriculum page when not logged in
    9. Everything is expertly as it should be
    10. https://i.imgur.com/7mpY8nu.jpg
    11. Then I click the first preview button and see this

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Hello activeenglish,

Sorry for the late response! I can see this issue on my site also – it looks like that questions are not showing in the free preview, but text modules are showing correctly.

Let me ask developer if this is intended or we have a bug here. As soon I will know more I’ll let you know.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

Kasia, thank you for your reply.

I’d like add one more thing because it’s still a bit unclear for me what should happen:

    First,

if you tick “Show title in unit view”

    View post on imgur.com

    1. Is the Module shown on the page?
    2. Is the Module shown in the Curriculum?

if you do not tick ““Show title in unit view””

    1. Is the Module shown on the page?
    2. Is the Module shown in the Curriculum?

    Second

if you tick “show” in the Course Structure

    View post on imgur.com

    1. Is the Module shown on the page?
    2. Is the Module shown in the Curriculum?

if you do not tick ““show” in the Course Structure”

    1. Is the Module shown on the page?
    2. Is the Module shown in the Curriculum?

Now the same settings seem to be giving different result.

    Hello @activeenglish,

    My apologies for delayed reply.

if you tick “Show title in unit view” –

The title will be shown in the Units review and in Course Structure.

if you do not tick ““Show title in unit view””

The module will not be shown at all.

if you do not tick ““show” in the Course Structure”

The module title will not be shown unless the “Show title in unit view” withing the module is selected.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Nastia

    Nastia,

    Thank you for the informatiion.

is there any news about the issue?

I can see this issue on my site also – it looks like that questions are not showing in the free preview

It’s a key factor for me, I am afraid.

    Hello @activeenglishб

I apologize for the late reply.

This bug is fixed in CoursePress version 2.0.3. So if you are using the latest version of the plugin the free course preview should show for logged in users.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

What do you mean, by the way, saying “for logged in users”. The Google can’t index the pages?
