Previewing a page

  • I originally created a holding page awhile ago. I recently started creating new pages. When I try to preview the page while I’m working on it it does not show me the correct page. When I try to preview the page it does not show the correct page (it shows the original page I created months ago). I do not have a parent page selected. Why is this happening? It is very frustrating.

  • When you are editing the page, are you clicking on the Update button before previewing? See this picture to get the idea:

    Also, to preview the page, how are you doing this? The simplest way is to click on the preview Changes button which will always alert you to save the page before previewing.

    Yes, I am hitting the update button. My url is https://www.shopzestt.com.

    I am wondering if the problem is with the original theme the client used. Since the site is already live I can’t change the theme without affecting the live site.

    Can I use install to create a new site to the same url? That way I can adjust the themes without it affecting the live site?
