Previous and Next posts

The posts that are shown in the section ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ at the bottom of a single post, is not the post of the previous or next day, but the previous/next post in the same category of the post that’s currently on the screen.
For example:
Currently when this post https://rebelsnotes.com/2019/05/bullying/ is on the screen, the previous post should be https://rebelsnotes.com/2019/05/aging/ (one day earlier) but shows as https://rebelsnotes.com/2019/05/big-deal-3/ (a week earlier) and the next oost should be https://rebelsnotes.com/2019/05/landmarks/ (a day later) but shows as https://rebelsnotes.com/2019/06/sauna-master/ (a week later).Is there a way to fix this so the previous and next posts don’t look at the category but at the previous/next date a post has been posted, regardless of the category?
