I recently switched WP Metaboxer to CFS. My meta data which was entered through the WP Metaboxer is still present in the database and I created matching custom field names/values when I set up CFS.

My problem is that the information for the custom fields does not show after CFS install/setup. The information is there and still outputs properly through code, etc., but it isn’t visible in CFS.

Is there a way to “refresh” so that those things will show in those fields? I don’t want to have to go back through and reenter everything so that it’s visible for future edits.

CFS relies on a custom cfs_values table to maintain the associations (order, weight, etc) between custom fields and their posts. That’s why your fields aren’t showing up.

Is there potentially a way to copy them over? into the corresponding fields?

I might suggest storing the data in the future into standard meta fields. Would make it significantly easier for people to use your plugin in an existing site.
