Wait… now I’m confused. If you click either link above (longer or shorter) it shows the appropriate list of events. Still, if you click the button at the bottom of my events page (https://www.bakerinstitute.net/events/) the destination does NOT show any events at all.

Why would the destination show a different result than the link address displays if copied/pasted/clicked?

    Hi SadieLue,

I’m so glad to hear that you like the plugin!

I suspect that the issues you’re having are because you are using the Default Permalink structure. The Events Calendar tends to work better when you use Pretty Permalinks, and I highly recommend that you switch to a Pretty Permalinks option.

If you switch and are still having that problem, the next step is to look for a theme conflict. Have you tried switching to a default theme like Twenty Twelve? If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.

    Best,

    Leah,

Thanks for your help. I am actually using a Pretty Permalinks option. I tried switching the theme, but it still doesn’t work to toggle back and forth between past and upcoming events with the buttons on the bottom of the screen. Just FYI. I realize your options are limited without me having a premium account yet. I’ll see if my theme developer can help at all here!

    Again, thanks for your time.

    Howdy SadieLue,

If switching themes to Twenty Thirteen cause the problem to go away, then looking to your theme dev is a great idea. They very while might assist you integrate these considering the popularity of our plugin. If switching themes did not help, also try disabling all plugins except TEC.

Technical info: Whatever is causing the issue is interfering with post queries served via admin-ajax.php, causing them to return an empty result.

Hey SadieLue. So sorry for this issue, there was a code change when we went responsive that broke past view ajax and it slipped through. I’ve patched this and it will ship with the next release.
