“Previous page” not working properly

There seems to be a problem with the “previous page” navigation links in my site. When going to page 2, it starts 4 posts after the last post in page 1 (i.e. if the last post on page 1 was #24, the first post on page 2 is #20). This seems to be a problem only at the “main” level, the category “previous” pages seem to be fine.
My site is https://www.newsdrunk.com … you’ll see the “previous page” link at the bottom… you can also see a list of the latest 10 posts in the middle sidebar and you’ll see 4 of the posts don’t show up when clicking “previous page”.
