Previous thread closed down unreasonably by unhelpful wordpress moderator

Hi,

This is a follow on from my previous thread that was unreasonably closed by a moderator without giving me a chance to respond. I have an issue that I would at least like to discuss and not be abruptly cut off. You obviously think I’m wasting your time but this is important to me and I would at least like a civil reply. This kind of thing can really taint the experience of using WordPress.

The thread was here and the last post by the moderator asked me (curtly) to refer to the link he posted above. I did this and it says the following:

‘Users can edit a post for up to 35 minutes from the time of submission. After that, the post can only be edited by a moderator’

I did post my request for deletion within 35 mins of submitting the post. I would have edited myself had I known it was possible but, not knowing this, asked a moderator to edit it for me.

Please take my concern I made in the original thread into consideration. This is a big issue for me and I don’t think its right to just dismiss what I’m saying by closing the conversation down.

The moderator in question simply followed standard procedure for these forums. As clearly stated on https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Deleting_.2F_Editing_Posts :

Forum topics will only be edited or deleted at the discretion of the moderators if they represent a valid legal, security, or safety concern.

We will NOT be editing your post to remove the urls(s). Please do not post on this subject again.
