previous_post_link & next_post_link not showing on single permalink posts

  • Hi there, for some reason the previous_post_link & next_post_link are not showing.

    I’ve placed them inside the loop in single.php.
    Permalinks are activated and working.

    I thought the plugin wp-pagenavi had something to do with this but deactivating it doesn’t make a difference.
