Previous/Next on ‘main’ index page?

    Previous/Next on ‘main’ index page. How can I show the previous/next options on my front page? It works correctly if it’s viewed in the archive or on a previous post but doesn’t show up on the main index page.

    and it works if it’s on the post page:

    I need it to be able to be clicked on the main index page as well.

    On the index page it is working: just scroll down and you’ll see the Previous entries.
    Note: on index and on a single view page (single.php template) two different line of code are used, because they perform different functions.

    ahh, cool didn’t notice it at the bottom, I’ll see if I can move that to the top.. ??
