• We supply greeting cards that are sold in blocks of 10 and each supplier gives us a different price (PER UNIT) so we split into price groups (bands). For example:
    PRICE GROUP A
    10 @ £23.00 (2.30 PER UNIT)
    20 @ £45.60 (2.28 PER UNIT)
    ….
    PRICE GROUP B
    10 @ £28.00 (2.80 PER UNIT)
    20 @ £55.60 (2.78 PER UNIT)
Each product is associated with one of those price groups so the price structure will depend on the product and the supplier and the price updates on the product page when you change the quantity.
I will take a look at this plugin but can it do this?

    hello

You should create rule for each supplier
    – define product filter( supplier )
    – configure bulk ranges
    https://algolplus.com/plugins/dynamic-pricing-examples-bulk-tier-modes/

last feature is supported by pro version only.
    thanks, Alex

Ok will try this thank you for your help…

Can I set a minimum quantity?
Does the price add up on the fly on the product page?
Can I set to display drop-down menu for quantity on the product page?

    Thanks

    Hello

For all questions – no , current version can’t do it.

We added following options to road map
    – Use first range as minimum quantity if bulk rule is active
    – Use ranges as quantity dropdown if bulk rule is active

but we’ll have time to code it in next month only.

you can submit ticket to helpdesk and we will provide beta when it’s ready.
    thanks, Alex

Many Thanks Alex, For your reference, we found a plugin that seems to work alongside yours to do this… Product Quantity for WooCommerce by Algoritmika Ltd.

This may be of help or not.

Hi, I do have a further question if I may. I am using Rules > Bulk > Quantity based on product fixed price for item. I have add ons, for example, ‘Print’ and the options are ‘B/W’ or ‘Colour’.

If I add say 30 items with ‘Colour’ selected the cart shows just that. If I add another say 50 items with ‘B/W’ selected, the cart indicates 80 items ‘B/W’; it does not keep the two items seperated. Is there a setting I need to adust?

    Kind Regards

    Andy

    hi Andy

it seems this plugin should solve problem with qty field.

Do you use any plugins to tweak product fields?
    I set simple rule https://imgur.com/Iyq2nmi
I see both variations in the cart https://imgur.com/fxpcRtK

Thanks Alex, what did you use to display the Black / Red choices, did you add them using attributes?

    Plugin Author algol.plus

    (@algolplus)

yes, I created variable product – added attributes and created some variations.

    (@pipedreamdesign)

Ah that’s a real shame. The whole rigmarole involved with the standard variations (adding attribute > variations) for each product (we have over 1000 all with slightly different options) and the way it displays the products just doesn’t work for us so we need to use an add on to perform this. Do you know of any that work with your plugin?

Also, your plugin does not seem to carry over the cost of the attribute. I have a test at https://www.pipedreamdesign.co.uk/shop/personalised-christmas-cards/laser-cut-christmas-cards/christmas-bauble/ if you add 50 (min quantity rule added) in quantity, the cart only shows the calculated price?

I have your product working almost perfectly in conjunction with ‘Product Quantity for WooCommerce’ (which we use to set min max quantites, add drop down quantity menu), however it does not seem to take into account discount rules set by your plug in. If you go to https://www.pipedreamdesign.co.uk/shop/brand-names/hillview-designs/magi-bauble/ and click on the ‘Prices per unit’ tab (next to reviews) you will see the rules set by your plug in but when I change the drop down, to say 100, it still only gives the ‘Regular’ price calculation, which is £2.10 instead of the correct (Rules) calculation of £1.55.

Is there a setting somewhere I am missing? Do I need the pro version?
    Thanks

    hi Andy

Do you see correct price in the cart ?

I think you need this feature
    https://algolplus.com/plugins/pro-features-in-action/

But it will require some extra code.
    thanks, Alex

Yes, the cart is working perfectly, which makes me think it could be a modification of the other plugin needed. Do you have a dropdown feature on your ‘to do’ list? I can send you the zip file of the other plug in if that helps?
