    Hi,

I have a recurring subscription via PayPal Express at a certain annual price.
I have now raised the price.
What would happen when existing subscribers reach the end of the period?
I want existing members to continue to pay (when they automatically renewed) the original price, and only new members to be charged with the new price.
However, I am not clear what is the normal behavior of the plugin in this scenario –

Will existing members be charged forever with the price they signed up for?
Will PMP accept their renewal, although the paid price is different from the new subscription price?

If not, please let me know how to handle this.

    Thanks!

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.

By default, active subscriptions will continue to charge members at the rate they originally signed up for. The price increase will only affect new signups going forward.

You won’t experience any issues with this price increase, Paid Memberships Pro follows the same model and grandfathers existing recurring memberships in at the same rate the member signed up for.

    Kind Regards,
