Price doesn’t adjust in Google shopping

  • I’ve just updated a few prices on products on our website, but Product Feed Pro does not push this change to Google Shopping as fast as I want it to. The feed has been set up to update one time a day, but I just updated it to twice a day to see if it helped. I’ve also manually fetched the product feed once again directly in Google Shopping.

    When I download the Google Shopping feed from the feed plugin (in WordPress) it shows the correct prices, but when I download it from Google, it states the old prices, even though the feed says it was updated a few minutes back.

    Questions:
    1. Do I need to expect a delay in the price update on Google Shopping feed? If so, how long? Is two days normal?
    2. If I update the prices manually in Google, will it affect anything in general?

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    When you manually fetch your feed in your merchant center it won’t update your products immediately. Google will do so themselves only once a day. Next to fetching the feed manually you will also have to press a button to manually start processing the feed.
