% Price Increase of Cost Price

    I’ve been using the free version of the plugin for a while now and it’s been fantastic. I’m looking to move to the premium version as we’re now in need of some additional features. But before doing so, I’m interested in finding out whether we can base wholesale pricing as a % increase of cost price? For cost price, we’re using the ‘Woocommerece Cost Price’ plugin. Out cost prices change quite frequently, and when stocked we have over 2000 SKUs so doing this manually can be challenging. Is there any way to set this up?

    Hi Tom,

    You can export your product data to a CSV file then you can calculate the wholesale price based on the cost column using the spreadsheet formula. You can bulk update the price this way and when you’re done, you can upload the CSV file to update the price in your website.

    HI Fauzan,

    Thank you for your reply. Yes, this is something I’ve been doing but it’s not the quickest solution and not a suitable method for us to manage our wholesale pricing. Can I make a feature request to change pricing as a % increase of cost please?

    I could see this being achieved by adding a product cost field to your plugin or supporting the woocommerce cost price plugin as this has additional analytical tools which are useful. I’ve no doubt I’m making it sound easier than it is. I just hope this is doable.

    Thanks for the reply! I get the feeling you must be a developer yourself based on your comment ?? I appreciate that you mentioned it sounds easier than it is!

    We have an open feature request for an integration with the COGS plugin already but the requests for it are (surprisingly) low.

    I’m going to add a link to this thread to that request so we can keep track and come back and inform you when our team gets to it.

    I also like your idea of potentially making wholesale price a function of the cost price. We’ll explore that for sure and thank you for bringing that up.

    Unfortunately I can’t make any guarantees on timeframe. I hope that Fauzan’s work around might help in the meantime!
