Hello, the price is modified when the order is in status wc-on-hold, so even when the order is not yet paid. I understand the plugin uses total_sales value, which is updated in this way by WooCommerce according to for example Github…. But then the FAQ is not telling exactly the truth, because the price is not updated when the order is Completed, but sooner.

Is there a chance this could be fixed?

But it seems it is a problem only in case of the wire transfer. If it is the default PayPal gateway and the payment is not finished, the status is not wc-on-hold and therefore the price is not updated. I guess the same will be for most of the payment gateway plugins too.

Hi @mvek, sorry for such a late response.

This is more of an issue with WooCommerce and how they handle the sales. This plugins hooks when WooCommerce records the sale and also when order is completed to check if the product should be updated or not.

Since WooCommerce is doing the sale updates, I can’t be of help here with that.

Maybe, the Wire Transfer gateway have a bit of a different flow when processing orders to record the sales.

I understand, then my point was only to perhaps make the FAQ answer a bit more precies, nothing else. I guess that if someone wants a dynamic price, they won’t use wire transfer directly in WooCommerce, but some 3rd party gateway, so it is not a problem. Only the FAQ is a bit misleading.

We still hope to use the plugin now on our small e-shop with e-books (only Czech language). So I hope I won’t be posting more inquiries:-).
