Price List Plugin or Solution?

  • Doing a site project for a client who offers a small array of services, and I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to implement a sidebar price list.

    I’ve created a widget layout using static info to get started, which will be perfect if I can come up with a concept for where to pull the data from.

    Setting up an eCommerce plugin is one option, but as I’m not dealing with a lot of data – just 7 different products with 10 pricing options for each – that would be overkill. Creating a series of Custom Fields and pulling that data from them also isn’t an option – there’s only a key and value there, and I need an invisible key + two-value setup.

    Anyone have an idea of a simple solution for this? Links to tuts, plugins, resources or any ideas welcome. Thanks!

    Since the original thread I looked around at options and decided to go with creating a new post type with a few custom fields. Nice.

    But am now having trouble retrieving the values from these new posts. Can’t seem to find any good query/return data coding ideas. If anyone has pointers or links to share that would be great.
