I want to show product prices inclusive and exclusive tax. In Woocommerce settings, in TAX options I’m using {price_excluding_tax} in the field Price display suffix. The prices on my site are inclusive TAX, so this way I was hoping to add the price exclusive TAX to the inclusive TAX price. But nothing is happening. On the frontend I see only prices inclusive TAX. it’s not them related, because switching to the 2020 theme doesn’t maken ay difference.

  • Hello,

The Price display suffix is showing properly on my end – https://snipboard.io/84dnRH.jpg

Can you clear your browser cache and check if it shows properly? You could also check with a different browser.

Thank a lot for your reply!
Yes, you are right. But it is working because I solved it for now with some custom coding in my functions.php file. But the problem is still there. I’m able to add some text to the price, for instance “incl VAT’, but {price_excluding_tax} is not working.

    Hi,

I’m able to add some text to the price, for instance “incl VAT’, but {price_excluding_tax} is not working.

That’s strange. I’ve tried {price_excluding_tax} on my test site and it works properly without having to add any custom code. What happens if you try without the custom coding in your functions.php file?

I could also suggest running a conflict test to see if the issue is caused by a conflict with your theme or another plugin: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    Hi Maykato,

Thanks for your reply. Without custom coding and {price_excluding_tax} in the settings (https://snipboard.io/AT3ye2.jpg) it’s not working. Only the price including VAT is visible.

Disabling all plugins (except woocommerce) and switching the theme to 2020 doesn’t solve the problem.

    Hi,

I’m not sure why it doesn’t work on your site to be honest as it works properly on my test site with the same settings. If your WooCommerce and WordPress are up to date, then I still believe it’s caused by something that’s unique to your site (plugins, theme or custom codes). It may not be urgent now that you’ve solved the issue by adding custom codes, but you may want to get in touch with a web expert at some point to take a look at your site: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/
