• Hi,
We are using shipping classes to calculate shipping. We need to exclude the shipping costs from the currency calculation, such that the actual product price gets changed according to the country exchange rate, but the shipping value is excluded.

We could alternately divide the value for each of the shipping class by the exchange rate in the admin panel (we currently use something like ‘246 * [qty]’), so that when it is multiplied in the cart it is the same. Is there a shortcode or variable we can use to do that?

    Thanks. Loving this plugin.

  • Dear Alastair,

I don`t if I understand you correctly, but as I get it:

for example you have shipping 9$ when you are selling to US, and you would like to have nominal value of 9 eur when selling to EU? Is that correct?

    Hi Val,

That is basically it, yes. I would like the shipping shipping value to remain fixed – always the same – while the product prices change depending on the country.

    Ex.
    In the US: Product Price=$50, Shipping=$9, Total=$59
    In Europe: Product Price=44EUR, Shipping=EUR9, Total=EUR53

    Thanks,
    Alastair

    Dear Alastair,

We will see what we can do about. Get back to you with results.

    BR,
    Val
