    Hi

does anyone know where the pricevaliduntil schema variable is set in WooCommerce?

our problem is our site changes product prices quite regularly and we notice google microdata does not update and shows old prices

the example page shown has price at $60 and google microdata tool shows at $65 with an expiration date of 2025

any ideas where we can override ?

we have no sale fields set up or dates in std WooCommerce fields that would cause this

We have checked and cleared cache on CloudFlare and still same mismatch with google

the problem is same for in vs out of stock fields and it impacts our google merchant product feed as Google claims a mismatch.

Any tips on how to fix or access much appreciated

    Hi @shaunlb

The priceValidUntil schema variable isn’t directly set within WooCommerce. It’s usually populated by SEO plugins that add structured data to your site. If you’re using an SEO plugin, you should check its settings or contact its support for assistance with this issue.

However, if you’re not using an SEO plugin or the issue persists, you can manually override the schema data by adding custom code to your site. This would require some knowledge of PHP and WordPress hooks.

As for the price mismatch issue, it’s possible that Google hasn’t re-crawled your site since the price change. You can request a re-crawl via Google Search Console to update the data.

Regarding the in-stock vs out-of-stock issue, this could be due to a delay in Google’s indexing or a caching issue. Try clearing your site’s cache again and request a re-crawl.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
