Pricey Plugin
-
The plugin is relatively easy to set up for website developers. I think the general public may take a lot longer to use it and work it all out.
While the free version is ok, it does lack some main abilities. One is, that you have to get the paid version if you need to restrict how many bookings you want in a day. The other is, selecting the days you want available. These require the “Agency” paid version, which is 3 versions up from free. For a small start-up business, it’s a huge cost, when you’re not an agency. To consider currency conversions, USD 35/mo. (paid Yearly) is huge ($52AUD /mo. huge!). I would pay one of the lower fees, but the agency. I am looking for alternatives sadly. I think if the developers made it more affordable, they may make more money in the long run in my opinion as now they are losing on a sale. I most likely wouldn’t be the only one walking away.
I also noticed the lack of changing things difficult. Terminology around the world is not the same, while you can change some label names, it doesn’t flow through to the customer emails, this is a problem. I will say, that the support was good, they were helpful and ready to answer questions.
Overall, with the lack of some features, the price was the deal breaker for me.
