There is a product that is included in 3 other categories. the primary category is set but it is not displayed as such.

Example:

Product :
"OC 5U0X10 elektromos zár"

Categories to which it is assigned:

https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/elektromos-zar/feszultsegre-nyito-zar/

https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/

The primary category is:

https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/elektromos-zar/

And the URL of the product is this:

https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/elektromos-zar/feszultsegre-nyito-zar/keskeny-zar/

My other question is that if I start deleting the category backwards in the URL, it is available in all categories. Isn't this bad from an SEO point of view?
The product is listed with only 1 URL in the sitemap.

Thanks for reaching out about your product category. You mentioned the product URL is https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/elektromos-zar/feszultsegre-nyito-zar/keskeny-zar/ but visiting that returns a 404 error. Has the product been deleted?

You can’t find it because there is no category with such a URL.

The issue you described is not clear. You have a product that you have assigned to four categories. You chose one of the categories as the primary category of that product. What’s the URL of the product when it’s assigned a primary caregory?

ok so…

there is a product for which I set a primary category. This is the “elektromos zár”

accordingly, the product URL should look like this
https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/elektromos-zar/oc-5u0x10-magneszar/

but nevertheless, this is the URL

https://forschnit.com/product/magneszar/elektromos-zar/feszultsegre-nyito-zar/oc-5u0x10-magneszar/

- WordPress > Settings > Permalinks > Product permalinks
- Product categories meta box where you select which category is primary for the product
