Primary Category variable does not work until I update each post

    I recently imported several hundred posts and noticed that the primary category is not appearing in the meta title & description despite correct implementation.

    After some time I figured out that I could fix this by going into each post and clicking ‘Save’ without making any changes. There are a lot of categories so I have to wait a second for that to load before I hit save.

    It will take me weeks to work through every post, is there a automated way updating all posts in one go?

    I have tried bulk editing and adding a random tag but unfortunately that doesn’t work.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks for reaching out about the %%primary category%% snippet variable. Since the posts were imported, unfortunately, you’d have to go into each and click ‘Save’. I know that’s not an efficient way when you have hundreds of posts, but we are always working on improvements to the plugin.
