    Hello conkarampelas,

You can change primary colour to what you want, for that go to theme customizer and select colors and select custom and select color you want and publish.

    Hope this will help you.
    thanks.

    Hi AddWeb,

Thanks for replying, the colour-bar allows you to change colour just by sliding, but there are not options for other darker colours such as gray and black and also there is nowhere to type in the colour code.

The color slider is only limited to colors that have an acceptable amount of contrast between the white background and the black text. Colors outside that range are difficult for folks with visual impairments to see.

The details on that decisions are covered in https://github.com/WordPress/twentynineteen/issues/613#issuecomment-439406771

If you really do want a color outside of that slider, you’ll need to override all of it with CSS.

i noticed the slider as the only option as well. An option to add a hex or rgba option would be a nice addition in the next version…

It won’t be, considering the accessibility concern described above.

Did you notice that all available colors have a greenish overlay? To replicate best: choose a turquoise color from the middle of the color slider and see that it comes out green.

I haven’t noticed that myself. I chose a blue-ish overlay for my own site and it’s still blue-ish.

Would you please open your own topic about that using the form at the bottom of https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/twentynineteen/ ?

We’ve been looking into this and have provided more support for the primary colour (saturation and lightness) in the customiser with our plugin Options for Twenty Nineteen.

    Hope that helps ??
