• Resolved light orange bean

    (@light-orange-bean)

In the past few days, I tried to print recipes from my blog(lightorangebean.com). Sometimes it shows the full recipe(ingredients and instructions) in the print format, but sometimes doesn’t. When it doesn’t, it just shows the the headlines without any content. This also happened to my local server, so I think it might be the problem of the plugin itself. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled, but no luck. BTW, I am using the newest version of wordpress and easy recipe.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks!

  • Same problem here, any suggestions?

I have the same issue. I contacted the developer on March 27th and this was his response:

“We are aware of this problem and we hope to have a fix for it released in the next few days. We think it may be something to do with the W3 cache plugin because we cannot reproduce the problem on our own servers, we can’t see any obvious errors in our code and we know the problem is not consistent.

I don’t have a problem with [webpage] – it works as expected for me but I know that if I try reloading enough times, I’ll get to see the problem.

Whatever the cause is, we should have it fixed soon.”

That’s right, it is the problem with W3 total cache. When I turned my W3 cache plugin off, the printing works. At that point, I was running easy recipe version 3.2.2929.

So I delete the latest version (3.2.2929) and installed the older version 3.2.2885 (you can find it here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easyrecipe/developers/). Everything works fine even with the W3 total cache plugin is on.

    I hope this will help.

Thanks for this! Deleting the plugin and uploading the previous version solved it for me as well. Just FYI, if anyone doesn’t know how to upload a plugin: Go to the plugin page in wordpress, click “Add New”, Select “Upload Plugin” and then choose the zip file downloaded from light orange bean‘s link. Once it has uploaded, click Activate.

We have recently changed the way the print works and seem to have resolved the print issues. If you continue to have problems, please let us know at https://support.easyrecipeplugin.com/submit-a-support-ticket/
