Priority problem

One other plugin that I’m using use the wp_mail function to send out mail. It use the init action. What I’ve noticed is that mail doesn’t arrive.
When using “Send test email” in admin for this plugin, then the mail does arrive.
So my conclusion is that there is priority problem. Maby both of these plugins attach to the same action? Maby it would be possible to change the priority in Configure SMTP to a lower value instead of using the default?
