Privacy settings missing

    I set up my site using an earlier version of WordPress, and set my privacy settings to “Ask search engines not to index.”

    Now the site is set up and I am running WP3.5.

    I do not see a Settings – Privacy option on the sidebar.

    When I go to mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-privacy.php, select the “Allow search engines to index this site” option and click “Save Changes” it reverts to “Ask search engines not to index” once again.

    How can I change this setting, please?
