  • Not allowed to add it due to plugin restrictions by Contact Form 7. Apart from that, you shouldn’t manually edit the form. Just use the toggle at the ‘Integrations’ tab.

    We only integrate with Contact Form 7, WooCommerce, WordPress Comments and Gravity Forms as of now. Any custom form or other form plugins are not supported.

    @donnyoexman The GDPR Checkbox on CF 7 Works but the Integration Text no.. I specify my own text in Integration Label but I always get: “By using this form you agree with the storage and handling of your data by this website” that is not exact because CF7 does not store data on the website.. How to fix.. Thanks..

    How did you solve your problems?

    I’m not getting a link to my privacy statemrntz in Contact Form 7. However the checkbox is there and works. Also I’m able to change the text, but how to get the link … unfortunately HTML is not allowed there.

    @wp_hel Solved by removing the %privacy_policy% statement.. Replaced with “You can read our Privacy Policy”

    @wp_hela; I’m wondering what needs to be done to make it more clear that it’s impossible to add any HTML or the %privacy_policy% placeholder to the Contact Form 7 forms. There’s a message directly underneath the settings fields that states that it’s impossible due to plugin restrictions. Could you provide me some feedback?

    @donny: At least in the German version it only says “Hint: No HTML allowed”

    That was my confusion. If you might add “… and no %privacy_policy% due to CF 7 restrictions” it would have make it more clear to me.

    However, I guess we both would like to have a link to the privacy statement right in that text … isn’t it?

    But at the end of the day, I like your plugin … well done!

    The Plugin just add a checkbox to a CF7 module and the output is: GDPR accepted on: the checkbox is a required field, if is not checked the form have an extra error message with the text inserted in Integrations. Adding the checkbox directly in CF7 is the same thing..
