    Hi @french150,

    Thanks for contacting us.

We are glad to inform you that it is possible to set up a public folder that all users may view and a private folder for each role or user with our plugin.

For this, add a short code for [wp file manager admin] and paste it on the required page. Kindly check the screenshot below to see how to restrict access to the folder or files for a particular user. https://prnt.sc/cIcofPq1H5WF

Please check the below screenshot for adding the user role restriction for a particular user role to access or hide the folder/files. https://prnt.sc/ErhEonKVN1Ha

Please check the below screenshot to add more folders and follow the given steps: Go to the WP File Manager > Settings > user restriction tab where you need to add the same user to access the different folders by a simple click on the “””” Add rule for users”””” button. https://prnt.sc/ZEsLn8NPzs2i

Please get back to us if you still have any more queries.

    Warm regards,

Hi, thanks for the reply but I asked you if some allowed user can create and assign some folder to some user on front end. You showed me how to do on backend.

Also you didn’t show me how add more folders for a particular user.

    I hope it’s clearer.

    Best regards

    Hi @french150,

We regret to inform you that it is not feasible for allowed users to create a folder and assign it to a user on the front end.

For your second concern of adding multiple folders for a user, you need to create multiple rules. Please follow the steps given below:

    1) Go to WP File Manager> Settings > User Restrictions.
    2) Click “Add rules for users”.
    3) Select particular user from dropdown.
    4) In “Separate or private folder access” field, write path of folder.
    5) Repeat steps 2 to 4 again and add another rule.

Please refer to the below screenshots for adding the rules.
